Jealousy- An erratic feeling.
My Thoughts-
For example, take the story of Hamlet by William Shakespeare
in the play, Claudius kills his own brother because he wanted to become the
king of Denmark and marry Gertrude, the queen of Denmark. And when Hamlet comes
to know the veracity by the spirit of his father, he tries to take revenge and
this adds fuel to the fire and Claudius tries to kill Hamlet and when he does
all of the royal household of Denmark including Claudius himself dies.
So now you see what jealousy can do, sometimes it forces
other people also to do things that they don’t want to do and which harm them
only. If Claudius wouldn’t have massacred his brother maybe he would’ve lived a
superior and a longer life, and not only Claudius but the whole royal family of
Denmark including Hamlet would’ve sustained. This shows that jealousy not only
hurts and causes pain to one person but maybe everybody who tries to take part
in the conflict.
Jealousy is a very inevitable
feeling it can’t be easily cured and that is why prevention is better than
cure. So the next time you start feeling jealous of someone, you have to stop.
Stop from thinking about what they have instead think about what they don’t have
and what you have that they don’t have. Jealousy is a very negative feeling and
one can never predict the upshots
which makes it erratic.
