Daydreaming or Nightdreaming?

Image
My thoughts- Daydreaming and night dreaming are parts of imagining; though one befalls in light of the day (generally) and the other occurs during the night. While daydreaming is a term referred when we are isolated from our surroundings, which are switched by a fantasy or an individual’s pleasurable thoughts and memories, night dreaming involves dreams of the ideas, emotions and sensations of the being that occur in the mind.   DAYDREAMING; Daydream is a really free thing to do (not in front of teachers though). While daydreaming we are taken into a world which we fancy and have always wanted to visit. Daydreaming normally occurs when someone is conscious. Normally a person daydreams when they are stressed or sometimes worried. Some psychologists warned the parents to not let their children to daydream for the danger of them getting sucked into phobia, in 1950s. But even though the daydreams can put you in trouble causing the teacher to tell you off; daydreams ...

Homework- Should it be Banned?

Image
My Thoughts- Homework can be understood as an assignment given to the students by the teachers which is to be completed at home and not in the school. In the simple words for the students it is a way of piling up more in their pressure. And for teachers it is another excuse to reprimand the children or tell the students to repeat something. In my opinion the reply to this question- should homework be banned is yes  and no, which means I am for and against the motion. Here are the reasons- WHY FOR? As a student I know what the circumstance of a student is while he is completing the homework. Teachers should have pity towards us after all the exams we have to pass to get accomplishment and above all of this they still expect us to do homework? It is kind of frustrating when we have to complete so much of homework, which they actually cannot do for they don’t remember the philosophies at all or the time is not adequate. This has happened with me also when I compre...

Inventions that have changed the World

Image
My Thoughts- An invention can be thought of as an innovative device for improvement. An invention can be prolific or maybe the contradictory too, but they still are a great progress. These days we don’t even comprehend the small things we use in our daily lives are also noble inventions! So, here is a list of five things that I think have transformed the world. First invention is a thing that everybody must have used- pencils. Even pencils are inventions, and were invented by a Swiss biologist, Conrad Gessner. I cannot imagine a life without pencils, for they help us write down our ideas which are very important. Pencils play a significant role in the lives of some people such as architects, they cannot keep cutting things using a pen or use a whitener; second-cartoonists, they also have to use pencils or else they’ll probably end up destroying their cartoons! And the last but not the least students, they need it for almost everything from taking notes to preparing for assessme...

The shepherd puppy

Image
A STORY- A chilly night it was when the story took place. There was a desire -not for a luxury but astoundingly for a puppy. I know it sounds bizarre but that puppy made me go out of the way. I had gone out for a walk on the eventful streets of Munich, when I came by a small but jovial shop called ‘’’Go Dogs’’. I was not so sure about going there, still I went for I saw many loveable creatures in there. But I guess it was the wrong thing to do for I got imprisoned there, not in a real prison or something but in the prison of love for a puppy. There inside the shop there were many small and big dogs and pups but there was a shepherd puppy all alone in a cage that was kept far from the others. The puppy had isolated eyes as if it was waiting for someone. Its looks made me inquisitive and I asked the shopkeeper about the puppy. The shopkeeper gawked at me as if was from a mental asylum. He suddenly seemed afraid of me. This all was becoming exasperating for me, so I shrieked at him ...

My Youth Icon- J.K Rowling

Image
MY YOUTH ICON- Everyone has a goal in their lives and this goal is always supported by a fondness or an icon. I too  have a youth icon that is – J.K Rowling, best known as the author of the Harry Potter fantasy series. Her books have particularly gained worldwide attention and have won several awards other than being a bestselling. The books have been the basis for a series of films which has become one of the most grossing ones. In simple words her books are awe-inspiring.  Joanne Rowling was born in Yate, Gloucestershire. She was working as a researcher and for Amnesty International when she apprehended the idea for the Harry Potter series. It is a really eerie thing that this idea for a story of a young boy who was attending a wizardry school popped into her mind while she was on a delayed train trip. In the following time after that, she saw the death of her mother which affected her writing a lot. She was suffering from poverty until she finished the first n...
