Ten Plants That Might Just Save Your Life..

Pollution is a very—or perhaps, the most common word one hears from people these days. In many places, for instance, in Delhi even the face masks are out of stock in shops. Schools have been closed and construction works are put on hold. At times it is hard to deem that how can this harmless-looking, easily-caused and buoyant smoke be so detrimental to... to everything. Almost everything is at stake. Our health and eventually lives, the future of us: children, the state’s development, the country’s parsimony, and more significantly our planet.

Considering people’s ennui till this point it is clear that the apathetic people can and will not stop yielding more and more pollution. Well, we can’t blame all of them. Some people’s livelihood depends on doing work that cause this. The Government can’t just seize their everything from them. But if something is not done pollution will.

So, here are some plants which if are planted might just save you from dying a terrible death of pollution: -

1: NEEM PLANT
BOTANICAL NAME- Azadirachta indica

Neem is a tree inherent to the Indian subcontinent, whose seeds and fruits are the informant of the neem oil. Neem is one of the most effectual and antediluvian air-purifiers which releases oxygen and replaces toxic carbon gases.

  2: ALOE VERA

BOTANICAL NAME- Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera: a tender and lurid plant is very easy to grow. It helps clear formaldehyde and benzene. It actually absorbs carbon dioxide and releases fresh oxygen.

3: BANANA
BOTANICAL NAME- Musa Oriana
 
Well, look which plant purifies air- banana plants! This air-filtering plant will also purify the air while you can enjoy the bananas from it!

4: RUBBER PLANT
BOTANICAL NAME- Ficus Elastica
 
This genus of plant in the fig genus entailing less amount of light than other plants excels at removing chemical toxin from indoor air.

5: DRACAENA
BOTANICAL NAME- dracaena spp.

Dracaena has over forty arrays and amputates benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, and xylene.


6: ARECA PALM 
BOTANICAL NAME - dypsis lutescens

It removes venoms from the air and has been named the most proficient air humidifier by NASA.

7: TULSI PLANT
Tulsi—India’s most sacrosanct plant—can even remove fluoride from drinking water! Well then, it goes without saying that it purifies air.

8: PEACE LILY
BOTANICAL NAME- Spathiphyllum 'Mauna Loa'

Peace lily has seashell-shaped spates that really will bring a touch

of summer into a dreary winter along with its quality of purifying air.

9: BOSTON FERN
BOTANICAL NAME- Nephrolepis exaltata 'Bostoniensis'

Other than excelling at removing formaldehyde from air this plant also removes benzene and xylene.

10: JANIET CRAIGS
BOTANICAL NAME- Dracaena deremensis "Janet Craig"

Being a tolerant of sun this plant also removes formaldehyde.
