HP POST- Evil Harry?

EVIL HARRY?

Harry Potter. The Chosen One. What if he had turned on to his dark side? What if he would’ve given up and joined You-Know-Who? And what if he wasn’t the savior of the Wizarding World?

WHAT IF IT WAS SLYTHERIN HARRY?
Well, firstly, Hagrid played an important role in influencing Harry. How? If he had not told Harry about the house of Slytherin would generally be the house of evil wizards, probably, Harry wouldn’t have pleaded the Sorting Hat to place him in Gryffindor and not Slytherin. And if Hagrid wouldn’t have done that, Harry would never really get that close to Ron and Hermione, which meant he would try to be friends with people like Malfoy, obviously making him ever so slightly malevolent.








                                        WHAT IF HARRY HAD GIVEN UP HOPE?
Harry giving up hope. Sounds very unbearable, doesn’t it? But think about it, Harry had suffered since his childhood. First, his parents die. Then, he is treated badly by the Dursleys. After that, Voldemort tries to kill him. And still, everyone offends him and Dumbledore, when they’re onto the path of the Greater Good. See? What if Harry had got under pressure and joined the dark side? Then, of course, maybe the Wizarding World would be under the reign of evil, and conditions would be glum and wretched for everyone.

WHAT ABOUT HORCRUXES?
Now, here’s the maddening part. If Harry—under pressure—would have given up hope, he would most probably try to tear his soul apart, so as to make horcruxes. That would make him immortal and would’ve helped him fight Lord Voldemort—and win. There, even harry would have found it easier, rather than to go hunting for Horcruxes. I guess then, Voldemort and Harry would’ve ended up killing each other.

WOULD HAVE DUMBLEDORE TRIED TO MENTOR HARRY?
Well, I think probably no. Dumbledore saw that exclusivity and spark in Harry when the Sorting Hat took Harry’s thought into its account and sorted him into Gryffindor. But if Harry would’ve ended in Slytherin with Malfoy, probably he would also be calling Dumbledore “an old freak”. And of course seeing that and Harry’s indifference, Dumbledore would have rather mentored Neville.

WOULD HE HAVE DISLIKED UMBRIDGE?
Harry loathes Umbridge (just like I do) throughout the story, but would he still have the same thoughts about her if he was Slytherin and under Malfoy influence? Er. . Not so likely. Yeah, I know that would be agonizing but then, that would be the reality. Probably, Harry would have ended in Umbridge’s Inquisitorial Squad. .Or perhaps, voted for her to be the Headmistress. Irritating, it is, right?

But fellow Potterheads, do NOT worry. Our hero will always be OUR hero. Harry would have never done that to . . . to us? Ah, well, Harry Potter will always; always be the savior of The Wizarding World . . . and our lives. .

But as said in the preamble there were too many complications. This book actually was a reconciliation of four stories and I liked this story the best. Its author, Rabindranath Tagore, was a well known poet, laureate, artist and philosopher- he wrote elegant prose and magical poetry. His stories are quite sensitive, fresh and beautiful.

HOMEWORK- SHOULD IT BE BANNED: PART II After coming to a conclusion that homework can be worthwhile as well as another thing for the students to sweat about, this post illuminates the stages a student goes through when completing a homework- before, during and after. Before receiving a bundle of homework the students, generally, are seen trying to enjoy the last minutes of their freedom and sovereignty. Once having obtained homework from one subject, they try to prepare themselves for the upcoming war. I am sorry I cannot give a better gift to you than a mere blog post- but words are the only gifts that can even come close to explain how much I love you, and how much you mean to me.
